A woman has died and a man remains in critical condition following a crash in Sydney's south west last month.
Just before 1pm Tuesday 28 July 2026, emergency services were called to The Boulevarde, Lakemba, following reports two pedestrians had been struck by a vehicle.
A 43-year-old woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Liverpool hospital, while a 64-year-old man was taken to St George Hospital.
The driver – an 82-year-old man – was treated by paramedics and has been taken to hospital for further assessment and mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command established a crime scene and officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the crash.
Police were notified that around 8pm on Monday (3 of August 2026) the 43-year-old woman died in hospital.
Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
