Woman dies after crash near Nowra

A woman has died following a crash near Nowra earlier today.

Emergency services were called to the Princes Highway at Meroo Meadow, approximately 10km north of Nowra about 11am (Wednesday 29 April 2020), following reports of a crash between two cars and two trucks.

The driver of one of the cars – a woman aged in her 40s – was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

The drivers of the two trucks and other car were uninjured and were taken to hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.

Officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command have established a crime scene, with the Princes Highway currently closed in both directions as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
