A woman has died following a single vehicle crash in the state's west yesterday.
About 11.20pm yesterday (Thursday 30 April 2026), emergency services were called to the intersection of Canowindra and Billimari Road, Cowra, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Chifley Police District attended and found a Holden sedan had crashed into a tree.
The driver – a woman believed to be in her 20s – died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene was established and investigations commenced into the circumstances of the crash.
