A woman is in a critical condition following a single-vehicle crash on the Central Coast yesterday evening.
About 6.20pm (Saturday 9 June 2019), emergency services were called to Geoffrey Road, Chittaway Point, after reports of a crash.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended to locate a Subaru Forrester stopped in scrub beside the road, after it's believed the vehicle struck a gutter while turning onto Geoffrey Road from Wyong Road.
The Subaru's driver – a 59-year-old woman – is believed to have suffered a medical episode after the crash.
Residents from nearby properties rendered assistance to the woman, before NSW Ambulance paramedics treated her and took her to Gosford Hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
Inquiries into the crash by Tuggerah Lakes Police continue.
