A woman missing from Alexandria has been located safe and well after police issued a geotargeting text message appealing for public assistance.
The 60-year-old woman was last seen on Bourke Road, Alexandria, about 4.10pm today (Thursday 3 February 2022).
She was reported missing to officers from South Sydney Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries – including the issue of a geotargeting text message – the woman was located in Chippendale about 9pm today.
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
