Woman suffers lacerations to hands and fractured wrist; man charged at Tahmoor

A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing a woman in Tahmoor today.

About 10.40am (Monday 10 August 2020), emergency services were called to a business on York Street following reports of a violent domestic.

On arrival officers found a 32-year-old woman suffering lacerations to her hands, and a fractured wrist. She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment.

A 62-year-old man was arrested at the scene and also taken to hospital for assessment.

Upon his release, he was taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (DV), and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV).

He was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow (Tuesday 11 August 2020).
