Woodridge Fire Investigation

Northam Detectives are seeking information regarding a fire in Woodridge, east of Guilderton, on Sunday, 26 February 2023, which caused significant damage to a house, shed and vehicles.
About 8:35am the Department of Fire and Emergency Services notified WA Police Force they were attending a fire at a residence on Woolly Bush Loop. Lancelin Police attended the scene.
While the house was gutted by the fire, and four vehicles were destroyed, fortunately the two adults and three children who were inside the house were able to escape unharmed.
At this time the fire is being treated as suspicious and Northam Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the cause of the fire. Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area around the time of the fire.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the vicinity of Woolly Bush Loop between 7:00am and 9:00am on Sunday is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
