Woolworths customers can expect a range of exciting twists on traditional flavours this Christmas, with the launch of more than 60 new innovative festive products.
From candy cane popcorn, a ruby chocolate cheesecake, mocha espresso martini flavoured pudding, through to a new take on the Turducken, the Woolworths Piggy Back Roast, a cut of scotch beef wrapped in crackling pork belly, the product development team at Woolworths have been busy working on the new seasonal range since Christmas last year.
Woolworths Managing Director of Woolworths FoodCo, Guy Brent said; "We know at Christmas time our customers want us to help make it as easy as possible for them to entertain and excite their family and friends. The best way we can do this is with food that is not only delicious, but has a wow factor attached to it.
"Over the last year, our product development team of innovation chefs have been experimenting with new flavour combinations and trends, with a focus on ways our customers can easily add sparkle to their Christmas tables.
"We are excited to be able to launch more than 60 new festive food items to the Woolworths and premium Gold range, which all have great taste, ease of preparation and a little sparkle at the heart of their innovation. As part of their journey to Woolworths supermarket shelves, all products have also been tested by an independent customer panel, to ensure they are going to resonate.

The new range features indulgent puddings and show-stopping desserts, including a new take on a favourite after dinner cocktail, the Gold Mocha Espresso Martini Flavoured Pudding: a mocha flavoured sponge pudding with a sachet of espresso martini style sauce, topped with a sprinkling of edible gold dust.
Also in the new pudding range is the Gold Orange Liqueur Pudding, made with orange liqueur, juicy sultanas, raisins, almonds, cider and rum; topped with glazed orange slices.
The desserts range offers ready to plate convenience, designed to impress guests when entertaining. The Gold Ruby Chocolate Baked Cheesecake elevates the humble cheesecake to the next level - made with ruby chocolate, a smooth and creamy cheesecake, sprinkled with silver lustre, Belgian white chocolate, ruby pearls and real raspberries.
For Aussies looking for something a little different, Woolworths is releasing the Woolworths Piggy Back Roast, a cut of Scotch beef wrapped in pork belly, seasoned with a garlic and herb crumb.
Woolworths is also offering a range of convenient ham roast kits, including the new Gold Boneless Mountain Ash Smoked Ham Roast Kit, with Australian Pork and smoked with mountain ash sourced from Victoria's Yarra Valley, a Cranberry, Orange & Champagne Glaze, packet of cloves, as well as a sachet of edible gold dust to give it a magical touch.
