Contractors will begin construction of the next two stages of the Jindabyne Shared Trail project tomorrow, weather permitting, connecting Tyrolean Village to Kunama Estate and East Jindabyne with new shared trails.
Council advises all trail users in the wider East Jindabyne trail network to be alert for changed trail conditions, temporary closures, detours, and constructions crews and equipment while these works are underway.
Jindabyne Shared Trail — February 2026 construction information
Works: Construction of two new trails (Jindabyne Shared Trail Sections 1.1 and 2.1)
Location: Section 1.1 between Tyrolean Village and Kunama Estate, and Section 2.1 between Tyrolean Village and East Jindabyne boat ramp
Date: Works begins Thursday 5 February 2026, weather permitting
Hours: 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
Work zones will be clearly marked, but bike riders will need to dismount and walk through works zones for their safety and the safety of others.
There will be no trail closures on weekends and appropriate signage will be in place.
