It is understood the rear loader garbage truck was being reversed beside another truck when the 41-year-old was struck and run over about 4:50pm, causing fatal injuries.
WorkSafe investigators will determine whether further action is required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
The death is the 58th confirmed workplace fatality in 2025. There were 51 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
