Works for new Butter Factory entrance set to start

Sign indicating roadworks ahead
Road works are set to start on Jacaranda Ave

Road works to create a new entrance for Logan's historic Kingston Butter Factory are set to start this week (Thursday, October 29).

The works will mean some minor disruption for motorists on Jacaranda Ave between Kingston Rd and Milky Way, Kingston.

Signs will be in place to indicate reduced speed limits and a partial road closure with one-way traffic flows in place towards Kingston Rd.

The road works are part of a $16.1 million project to develop the KBF into a vibrant cultural heritage and performing arts hub in the heart of Logan.

The work is scheduled to be complete by early-December, weather conditions permitting.
