Works start to refresh Pakenham playground

An upgraded playground at Creekwood Park in Oaklands Way, Pakenham, was announced yesterday!

The new playground is expected to be completed by the end of June 2023.

Cardinia Shire Council Deputy Mayor Councillor Jack Kowarzik officially turned the sod at the site yesterday afternoon with Member for Pakenham, Emma Vulin MP.

The Creekwood Park playground renewal project will deliver new playground equipment for the local community, making it a more accessible and fun space that residents will be able to enjoy all year round.

The exciting project will be jointly funded by Council and the Victorian Government's Living Local Suburban Grants Program, each contributing $90,000 towards the renewal.

Council would like to thank everyone who had their say during the consultation phase, which helped shape the design of this this playground.
