The University of Warwick has retained its top 100 position of 77th overall in the World and 9th in the UK in the THE (Times Higher Education) 2021 World University Rankings published at midday on Wednesday 2nd September 2020.

In the previous two years Warwick rose a total of 14 places in the THE global rankings.

The University of Warwick's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stuart Croft, said:

"I could spend time celebrating the fact that we have retained out top 100 position in this table in what continues to be a turbulent year for our whole world. However, particularly as the start of new academic year is so close, I would instead like to take more time to focus on celebrate the resilience of all our staff and students in this most challenging of years, and to thank all of them for the work they are doing to enable our teaching and research, and services to our staff, students and visitors, to continue in this most challenging of times."
