At approximately 11am on Thursday the 29th December 2016, police responded to reports of a stabbing at Wendel Court West Moonah. A suspect was arrested in relation to the incident a short time later, and the victim is currently receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries in the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania Police say.
Following investigations, police have charged a 23 year old female with a number of offences including:
- Wounding
- Drive Whilst Disqualified
- Aggravated Burglary
- Common Assault
- Dangerous Driving
- Evade Police
- Contravene Conditions of a Notice
- Two counts of Motor Vehicle Stealing
- Stealing
