Wounding charge, Macgregor

Queensland police have charged a 15-year-old boy following investigations into an alleged wounding at Macgregor on Saturday, March 25.

It will be alleged around 10.25am, a 16-year-old boy sustained a stab wound to his back near Wadley Street before he walked to the Garden City Bus Interchange and alerted a member of the public.

The boy was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Following investigations by the Morningside Child Protection and Investigation Unit, a 15-year-old Inala boy has been charged with one count each of wounding and failing to provide access to data (electronics).

It will be alleged the teenagers were known to each other.

His bail has been refused, and he is due to face Brisbane Childrens Court at a later date.
