Wounding Charges, Eagleby

Queensland Police have charged a 45-year-old man following a wounding at Eagleby overnight, March 10.

It will be alleged that around 6:55pm, emergency services were called to a Wagner Street address following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers located a 46-year-old man who had sustained serious injuries and was subsequently transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A 45-year-old Eagleby man was taken into custody at the scene.

He has since been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in a public place, going armed so as to cause fear.

He was denied police bail and is due to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, March 11.
