Wrong way in Warragul

A woman has lost her licence and car keys after police caught her allegedly drink driving in Warragul this afternoon, Victoria Police say.

Officers intercepted the vehicle about 4.45pm on Jamieson Street after it was spotted travelling on the wrong side of the road with a one-year-old boy in the back seat.

The female driver underwent a preliminary breath test before being taken back to the police station, where she recorded an alleged reading of .184.

The 28-year-old from Drouin had her licence immediately suspended and her car impounded at a cost of $1291.

She is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving.
