Conveniently located at 9 Treelands Drive, Yamba, the new service centre will replace the previous site just 260 metres down the road in Yamba Shopping Fair at 1-3 Treelands Drive.
The service centre is planned to open from Monday 27 October, with the previous site seeing customers right up to Friday 24 October to ensure no service impact.
Yamba Service Centre Manager, Sharon Lynn, said locals will benefit from a larger stateof-the-art office, designed with customer needs front of mind.
The service centre will continue to have 7 front-of-house staff available to assist customers with their queries.
"We're so pleased residents in Yamba get to enjoy a fresh new space to access government services." Ms Lynn said.
The service centre's contemporary layout and upgraded facilities mean locals will find it even easier to access support, payments and services.
Customers who prefer a set time to speak with a Centrelink staff member can go online to book an appointment at the Yamba Service Centre for a time that suits them.
Digital coaching is also on offer for those looking for extra support to access our online services.
Customers interested in digital coaching can arrange a free session by calling their regular Centrelink payment line, booking online or asking a service centre staff member to book them in.
"During this coaching our staff can help people with their specific needs or interests - from how to set up a digital account to lodging claims."
The new site will be open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
On-site parking will also be available.
