Yarra City Council has today announced a further $328,000 in additional support for local businesses by waiving all footpath trading and parklet fees until October 2021.

Yarra Mayor Cr Gabrielle de Vietri said Council understood that the impacts of COVID-19 continued to be felt strongly by many.
“We have listened to our business community and we have responded, and acted quickly,” Mayor de Vietri said.
“Council has now waived all fees associated with outdoor dining since the pandemic began.”
“This response demonstrates our willingness to continue supporting businesses and do what we can to ensure they can weather the ongoing impact of the pandemic.”
