City of Port Phillip
Our 2025 Youth Access Grants are now open with young people across Port Phillip encouraged to pursue new passions and experiences.
These grants aim to remove financial barriers for young residents who want to explore new activities from creative arts and sports to personal development and community engagement.
In the past, our grants - for both individuals and organisations - have supported young people interested in everything from football and photography to the environment and coding.
- Our Get Involved individual grants provide up to $500 for a young person aged 12 to 18 years to participate in sporting, creative and social activities.
- Our Recreation Programs Grants are available for organisations to apply for up to $15,000. The organisations must provide a free or low-cost recreation program for young people aged 12 to 18 years of age.
In previous years, The National Theatre provided dance and drama classes for young people experiencing disadvantage, while Outdoor Connections offered free recreation and hands-on conservation activities including wildlife watching and snorkelling in the bay.
