Campaspe Shire Council is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's Campaspe Youth GO! Grants.

The grants are in partnership with the State Government's Engage! Program and will assist a variety of groups and organisations to run youth focused activities and events through the year.

Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Rob Amos said the annual grants program is a great way to engage the youth across the shire.

"This year's applications were the most we've received, with 19 applicants seeking funding from the $6,000 grant pool. It's a great sign that there is genuine interest across the shire from groups and organisations to host youth events and activities.

"The applications were assessed by representatives from Council's Youth Action Group

(YAG), supported by Officers, to help evaluate applications from a youth perspective and meet the criteria of the grant process.

"The successful applications represent a range of organisations across the shire, with a variety of opportunities for young people to get involved in programs, activities and events between now and the end of the year," Mr Amos said.

  • Echuca College - $1,000
