Orange's Youth Centre is open every weekday of the school holidays with a range of free or low cost activities for Orange's school students.
Orange Mayor Reg Kidd said the centre, in Garema Road, would open between 11am and 5pm July 8 to July 19.
"There's so many activities on in Orange for school kids this coming break but some activities may be out of the price range for some families," Cr Kidd.
"So to make sure all kids have the opportunity to relieve that school holiday boredom, in constructive ways, Orange City Council's youth development team has worked hard to come up with a range of activities for all students."
Orange City Council's Services Policy Committee Chair Stephen Nugent said many of the activities were made possible thanks to a donation from Newcrest Mining Cadia Valley Operations.
"Activities include movie nights, barbecues, digging in the vegie garden, art and craft, cooking and a disco," Cr Nugent said.
"All school-aged kids are welcome to come along. It's a great opportunity for students to meet others from different schools as well as get some hands on life-skills while they have a great time."
