Youth & Future of Work Fest Set for Gyeonggi, Korea

The 2025 Gyeonggi-ILO International Labour Festa, themed "Youth, Provinces & the Future of Work," will take place 15 to 17 December 2025 at KINTEX, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, Republic of Korea.

Jointly organized by the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and the International Labour Organization (ILO), and with the support of the Ministry of Employment and Labour, the event will address the challenges and opportunities facing young people in a world reshaped by remote work, the green economy, AI, automation and the gig economy. It will also highlight the importance of their rights at work and their meaningful engagement in the world of work.

With one in five young people globally not engaged in employment, education, or training (NEET), the Festa brings together experts of all ages to address the main barriers young people face in accessing productive employment and decent work.

It will highlight innovative policy and programmatic solutions developed at the local level, co-created by young people, policymakers and social partners. In addition, it will provide an opportunity to shape sustainable future labour policies through collaborative dialogue and action with youth.

Participants will include representatives from governments, employers' and workers' organizations, approximately 100 young people (aged 18-35) from around the world.
