Youths arrested after cars stolen, South Australia

Three youths have been arrested following two cars being stolen from Clarence Gardens overnight.

Just after 6am on Monday 9 December, the victims reported their home in Clarence Gardens had been broken into and tools and two cars were stolen.

Just before 11am on the same day, police located the stolen Volkswagen Golf and the Toyota HiLux on Cowley Avenue at Dudley Park.

Western District patrols along with State Tactical Response Group, quickly set up cordons and with the assistance of Police Dog Zeus located the male suspects at the Islington Railway Station.

A 17-year-old from Kilburn, a 14-year-old from Andrews Farm and a 14-year-old from Gilles Plains were arrested without incident. It is expected they will be charged with illegal use, being unlawfully on premises and making off without payment.
