Youths arrested at Sheidow Park, South Australia

Two teenagers have been arrested after the allegedly broke into cars in the Sheidow Park area overnight.

Just before 4am, police were called to Tindall Crescent, after a person reported seeing two people trying to get into her car.

Southern District patrols converged on the area and a short time later found two boys a few streets away on Lander Road at Trott Park.

A search of the boys uncovered several items police believe have been stolen from cars overnight possibly in the Trott Park or Sheidow Park area.

*'Navman' in-vehicle GPS in a case.

*'Coles-Myer' Gift cards (2)

*Grey weighted blanket

At this point police have yet to locate the owners of the above items. We are asking residents and car owners in the Trott Park or Sheidow Park area to check their vehicles this morning, if any of the above items or they notice anything else missing, please contact the police assistance line on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The two suspects, a 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy both from Sheidow Park have been arrested and charged with unlawful possession with possible further charges pending.

They both have been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach court at a later date.
