Police have charged four youths over an attempted carjacking in Hobart in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The youths, all aged between 14 and 15, reportedly threatened the victim with a knife and attempted to steal his car.
The youths fled the scene on foot and stole a backpack. The victim received minor injuries.
All the youths will appear in the Youth Justice Court.
