2022 Kindergarten registrations now open

Kindergartens

Registrations are now open for three and four-year-old funded kindergarten programs for 2022.

General Manager Development, Paul McKenzie, said the program enables three-year-old children to benefit from two years of early learning prior to starting school.

"Kindergarten is an important time when children develop key social and emotional skills, along with leaps forward in language, literacy and numeracy," Mr McKenzie said.

"Funding for three-year-old kindergarten means more Victorian families can afford to enrol their children in the program."

Children are eligible to attend a funded kindergarten program if they turn either three or four years of age on, or before, 30 April in the year of attendance.

Council coordinates a centralised registration process, making it easier for parents to indicate their kindergarten preferences in the one application.

Available kindergartens include Berrimba (Echuca), Colbinabbin, Echuca Central, Echuca East, Echuca South, Goodstart Early Learning (Moama), Gunbower, Lockington, Pink & Blue (Echuca), Rochester, Stanhope and Tongala.

Families are encouraged to submit their central registration applications online through Council's website
