2026 NRLW Telstra Women's Premiership Schedule

The National Rugby League (NRL) has released the draw for the ninth NRL Telstra Women's Premiership season, which will kick off in prime time on the first Thursday night in July.

After another record-breaking season for women's Rugby League, the highly anticipated 2026 season schedule includes 30 double-header fixtures and a regional NRLW Magic Round showcase in Wagga Wagga.

Highlights of the 2026 Draw include:

  • Thursday night prime time season opener between 2025 Preliminary Finalists the Sharks and Knights at Sharks Stadium on July 2, and a Round 1 Queensland derby clash between the Broncos and Cowboys as part of a Saturday evening Suncorp Stadium double-header.
  • The second edition of NRLW Magic Round scheduled for Round 5 at Geohex Park in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
  • 2025 Grand Final rematch between the Broncos and Roosters featured in Round 7 as part of a double-header at Suncorp Stadium.
  • A further two Thursday night prime time matches during the home and away season including Sharks v Broncos (Round 2) and Roosters v Bulldogs (Round 11).
  • Only three five-day turnarounds across the entire schedule, with no team receiving more than one.

NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said the 2026 season schedule will excite fans from start to finish.

"By every measure, the Telstra Women's Premiership is the premier elite women's football competition in Australia and the Pacific.

"The 2025 season delivered more live ball and ball in play than ever before, along with a record number of golden point matches. In an intense 11-round competition, every moment on the field matters for every club.

"This season the draw delivers a more even distribution of double-header fixtures between the clubs, giving more fans across Australia and New Zealand the chance to experience the women's and men's Premiership on the same game day.

"We also look forward to taking the second NRLW Magic Round to a town that is synonymous with Rugby League and has produced so many of our game's great male and female players in Wagga Wagga, giving regional Rugby League fans an opportunity to experience the excitement of a full round of matches and the festival atmosphere that is unique to Magic Round."

Every match of the season will be available for fans to watch on the Nine Network, Fox Sports, Kayo Sports, 9NOW, Sky NZ and WatchNRL.
