Broken Hill City Council have a range of facilities and services that may be closed or operating over alternate hours for the 2026 BHCC Picnic Day. Please find full list of trading hours and operational information below.
2026 operating hours
Council's Administrative Centre, Library, Civic Centre and Warnock Street Depot will be closed Tuesday, 3rd November and will re-open Wedneday, 4th November 2026.
Waste Collection Services will not be affected with normal kerbside and green waste collections commencing from 6am.
Animal Services - Council's Companion Animal Shelter will be closed. Stray dogs may be delivered to the Shelter from 9:30am to 10:30am and 4pm to 5pm.
Our online services are available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
