Georges River Council is inviting creatives, artists and performers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be part of the 2027 Uncontained Arts Festival.
The Uncontained Arts Festival is a standout event in Council's cultural calendar. It transforms Belgrave Street, Kogarah into a vibrant hub of creativity, art and entertainment. The festival will return in June 2027.
Over the past six years, the festival has engaged more than 200 artists. It has also attracted over 150,000 visitors.

Interactive experiences that bring people together and celebrate creativity in Georges River.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, "The Uncontained Arts Festival creates opportunities for artists to showcase their work. It also allows them to connect with the community and bring new ideas to life in public spaces.
"Each year, the festival transforms Kogarah into a vibrant destination for creativity and shared experiences. I encourage all creatives to submit an Expression of Interest and be part of this exciting event."
The festival is accessible and welcomes people of all ages and abilities. Council encourages proposals that are inclusive, participatory and engaging. Submissions from local and emerging artists are strongly encouraged.
Expressions of Interest are now open and close on Sunday 11 October 2026.
