Police are investigating the theft of three adult Alpacas and a custom grey animal trailer, registration QT 9030, from a property on Boys Road, Forest (near Smithton) between 14 July and 21 July, Tasmania Police say.
The alpacas are grey/white/brown and had very long fleece.
At the time they were stolen the Alpacas and property were being cared for by neighbours due to the owner having recently passed away.
Anyone with information about the current location of the Alpacas or who has seen the trailer is asked to phone Smithton Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
