A Fair Hearing in Sydney

The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Sport will be holding a roundtable public hearing in Sydney on Monday, 25 February 2019, as part of its Inquiry into the 2017-18 Annual Reports of the Department of Health and Australian Hearing. The inquiry will examine the Government's progress on the Committee's Still waiting to be heard report as well as following-up on a number of policy matters contained in the Department of Health and Australian Hearing annual reports.

The Committee Chair, Mr Trent Zimmerman MP, stated 'in 2017, the Committee made 22 topical recommendations regarding the hearing health and wellbeing of Australians and is keen to discuss the progress of these recommendations with government agencies and hearing health stakeholders.'

Submissions to this inquiry are not being sought.
