Police have released CCTV footage as investigations continue into the firebombing of two vehicles in Sydney's inner west.
About 5.20am on Friday 17 July 2026, emergency services responded to reports that two vehicles had been firebombed whilst parked unattended on Raynor Avenue, Abbotsford.
The vehicles – a yellow mini-Cooper and a black Mercedes sedan - had been doused in an accelerant before being ignited.
A black Nissan Navara parked on the opposite side of the road had also been doused in an accelerant but did not ignite.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire which caused extensive damage to the two vehicles.
There were no reports of any persons being injured.
Officers from Burwood Police Area Command established a crime scene which was later examined by specialist police.
As investigations continue police have released CCTV footage of two persons wearing dark clothing including face coverings who may be able to assist detectives.
The persons were seen leaving the scene in a red Mazda CX-5 which was last sighted droving west bound along Parramatta Road
