Aboriginal Elders yarn about ageing and dementia

Kiama Council is hosting a yarning circle this week with local Elders discussing ageing in our Aboriginal population.

The Elders will be joined by leading dementia awareness advocate Dennis Frost.

Kiama's dementia-friendly project has already spread its wings, working with the Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra to reach people living with the disease from a diverse range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

The yarning circle, which is part of the 2023 Seniors Festival, is also open for the public to attend:
