Activities galore at Rockhampton Museum of Art over River Festival Weekend
From the laneway behind, to the galleries and spaces within, Rockhampton Museum of Art (RMOA) will be busy throughout the River Festival weekend (7-9 October) with a range of free and ticketed events for the whole family.
Rockhampton River Festival will be held on 7-9 October and, as part of the official program of events, RMOA will have plenty to offer festival goers including exhibitions, workshops, performances, hands-on activities and more.
"Rockhampton River Festival is a spectacular event, bringing people from all over the region to our magnificent riverside and CBD precinct," Cr Drew Wickerson, Rockhampton Regional Council Communities and Heritage spokesperson said.
"The weekend will be a great opportunity for people to have a look at Rockhampton Museum of Art and take part in a range of activities from viewing exhibitions to hands on creative workshops," he said.
