Hoboken, NJ (September 30, 2020) - Actor Matthew Del Negro has built an impressive career playing a wide range of roles in features, television, and theater, including major stints on The Sopranos, The West Wing, Scandal, The United States of Tara, Amazon's Goliath, Netflix's Huge in France, and his latest role opposite Kevin Bacon on Showtime's City on a Hill.

Spending his adult life working as an actor in one of the most competitive fields in modern American life, Del Negro accumulated more than two decades' worth of rejections. Those experiences inspired him to launch his podcast 10,000 NOs in 2017 which provides deep insights into how people from all walks of life overcome incredible challenges. Now, based on the popular podcast, Del Negro is set to publish his first book, 10,000 NOs: How to Overcome Rejection on the Way to Your YES on October 27th.

The engaging book draws from Del Negro's personal experience and shares the lessons he has learned about persistence. Through stories from his own life and acting, Del Negro weaves anecdotes and quotes from podcast interviews he has done with a wide range of inspirational people from all walks of life, including professional athletes, bestselling authors, Forbes list entrepreneurs, cancer survivors, Hollywood elite, and others.

"This is the book I wish I had when I was coming up as an actor, feeling alone as the 'no's piled up all around me, says Del Negro. I wanted to write this book so readers could see, both through my own struggles and those of others I consider 'more accomplished' than me, that even if they're stuck right now, or moving more slowly toward their goals than they hoped they would be when they first set out on their journey (whatever that journey may be), they can still put one foot in front of the other every day and make progress."

The 10,000 NOs podcast and book aim to inspire others to keep going even when their progress seems infinitesimally slow. Rejection happens to everyone, and while it may seem easier to give up, Del Negro believes in determination and shares his advice how to move past each rejection to make it through to the other side.
