CAPA - Centre for Aviation (CAPA) the leading provider of independent aviation market intelligence, analysis and data services is pleased to announce Adelaide Airport Limited and the South Australian Tourism Commission as the hosts of the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit in 2022.
Representatives from South Australian Tourism Commission and Adelaide Airport attended this year's CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit held in Sydney earlier this week to make the announcement to 300+ aviation, travel and corporate travel delegates from across the country, as well as 170+ virtual delegates streaming the event live around the world.
The CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit will be held in September 2022 to explore a range of issues facing the industry - with a focus on domestic and international capacity recovery as well as sustainable aviation.
The Summit is expected to again bring more than 300 aviation and corporate travel executives from airlines, airports and suppliers together in what is widely regarded as the largest strategic aviation summit in the Australia Pacific region.
As is accustomed to all CAPA Summits, i the Summit will also attract airline leaders from across the aviation industry, with past speakers including the chief executives of Qantas, Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, Jetstar, Etihad, Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Malaysia Airlines, Royal Brunei Airlines, Fiji Airways, Hawaiian Airlines, SriLankan Airlines, AirAsia X, Scoot, Nok Air, VietJet, Cebu Pacific and Regional Express.

South Australian Tourism Commission chief executive Rodney Harrex said the CAPA Aviation Summit will bring focus to Adelaide at a time when the rebuilding of domestic and international aviation is critical.
"By bringing the leaders of the aviation sector to Adelaide in 2022, we are able to showcase our capabilities and potential to grow our airline services to the state. It allows us to reinforce our tourism and trade assets, our world-class airport and our capabilities in hosting fantastic business events," he said.
The 2022 CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit will be a two-day event, held at Adelaide Convention Centre. South Australia is already a favourite of the aviation sector, having hosted the world's largest aviation trade forum, World Routes 2019 when over 2000 international delegates came to Adelaide.
