ADF and Far West Local Health District Mobile vaccination clinics for Wentworth Shire

Great news for Wentworth Shire Council communities with the announcement Far West Local Health District (FWLHD) and two ADF medical teams will join forces next week to deliver mobile vaccination clinics for residents of Wentworth Shire.

The clinics will offer the Pfizer vaccine and predominantly focus on Aboriginal residents who have had difficulty in accessing vaccination clinics previously.

The mobile clinics will be held in the following locations:

WENTWORTH MONDAY 25TH OCTOBER

Swimming pool – 10am to midday

Darling Street oval/park – 12.30pm to 4pm BBQ lunch available

Darling Junction park – 10am to 4pm BBQ lunch available

DARETON TUESDAY 26TH OCTOBER

Namatjira Reserve – 10am to 1pm BBQ lunch available

Caltex Service Station – 10am to midday

Sturt Park – 12.30pm to 4pm BBQ lunch available

GOL GOL WEDNESDAY 27TH OCTOBER

James King park – 10am to 4pm BBQ lunch available

BURONGA WEDNESDAY 27TH OCTOBER

Crane Drive/Pitman Avenue water tower – 10am to midday

Midway Centre – 12.30pm to 4pm BBQ lunch available

FWLHD's Chief Executive Mr Umit Agis is urging all residents aged 12 years or older to take advantage of these additional localised clinics to get vaccinated.
