Adoption Road Management Plan
In accordance with section 54(5) of the Road Management Act 2004 (Act), the City of Stonnington (Council) gives notice that following a review and public consultation, it amended its Road Management Plan in accordance with the Regulations and the incorporated amendments come into effect on 1 July 2026.
The Road Management Plan sets the standards, policies and management systems used to ensure safe, efficient and appropriate standards in relation to the inspection, maintenance and repair of the classes of road to which the Council's Road Management Plan applies. This is consistent with the role, functions and responsibilities of Council as a road authority under the Act for the community. The Review amendments have been applied to all the roads and classes of roads to which the City of Stonnington's Road Management Plan applies.
A copy of the City of Stonnington's Road Management Plan may be inspected at or obtained from the Stonnington Civic Centre at 311 Glenferrie Road, Malvern, Victoria 3144, or accessed online.
