Police are investigating the theft of 6 registered firearms and a quantity of ammunition following the burglary of a residence in New Norfolk yesterday, Tasmania Police say.
The firearms and property including ornamental swords, a compound bow and a laptop computer were taken from a residence between the 23rd and the 26th of December.
The firearms were stored in an approved container on the premises.
Anyone with information that could help police is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
