Ai Group congratulates new NSW Labor leader
Statement by Mark Goodsell NSW Head, Ai Group.
"Ai Group congratulates Jodi McKay MP on her election as the leader of the NSW Parliamentary Labor Party," Ai Group NSW Head Mark Goodsell said today.
"We look forward to working with Ms McKay on important issues for the state's economy, its ability to continue to generate employment as well as to fund and support important programs underpinning social cohesion.
"Ms McKay's background before and during her political career gives her a strong understanding of the concerns of both regional and metropolitan constituencies, including job creation and economic renewal and community infrastructure and transport needs.
"Employers remain hopeful for bipartisan efforts to boost productivity and address complex issues such as energy, taxation and educational and skills outcomes," Mr Goodsell said.
