Albanese Gov Unveils New Admin Review Tribunal Picks

The Albanese Government has appointed new General Members to the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) for various terms.

Established by the Government in 2024, the ART is a fully independent body responsible for reviewing decisions affecting the lives of Australians.

The General Member appointments will help ensure all cases are heard fairly, effectively and efficiently while ensuring the ART's work remains accessible and responsive to the diverse needs of all parties.

Each General Member was appointed in accordance with section 208 of the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024 , and was assessed as suitable for appointment by an independent assessment panel in accordance with the Act and the Administrative Review Regulations 2024 .
