Police are seeking assistance to help identify a suspect over the theft of alcohol from a store in Malvern East last month
Investigators have been told a man entered a shop on Dandenong Road and stole a bottle of whisky about 12.30pm on 22 April.
It is believed the man placed the bottle in his pants and then walked out of the store.
The man is described as of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40's, thin build and medium height.
Police have released image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
