Alice Springs Aggravated Assault: Police Appeal for Info

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated assault occurred in Alice Springs overnight.

Around 8.30pm last night, police received a report that multiple offenders had attempted to unlawfully enter a business on Fitzpatrick Street in East Side.

The 46-year-old male owner attended the location after being alerted via CCTV and engaged with the offenders. The victim was allegedly struck to the head, back and arms with multiple blunt weapons.

The offenders fled the scene before police arrived.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for medical assessment.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
