Allan Labor Govt Faces VCAT Hearing on Corruption Docs

Liberal Party Victoria

The Department of Transport and Planning will face VCAT today after failing to produce key documents relating to corruption on Big Build sites.

After a six-month search, the department claims it could not find a single document relating to corruption involving the CFMEU.

That's despite the department being involved in an ongoing VCAT case about corruption briefings it provided to then-Minister Jacinta Allan.

These matters cover the same time period.

So the question is simple - how can the department brief a Minister on corruption, but then claim it has no records of it?

Member for Southern Metropolitan Region, David Davis said: "The State Labor government's inability to find a single document concerning corruption on Big Build sites shows their clear contempt for Victorians, and the corruption that has cost families $15 billion."

The VCAT hearing is an open hearing and the details are below:

VCAT hearing reference: Z19/2026 Davis v DTP
