A man has been charged after the alleged assault of a Camden woman was captured as he livestreamed to an online gaming site, NSW Police say.
Officers from Camden Police Area Command were contacted after a witness reported the alleged assault of a 21-year-old woman, believed to have been livestreamed about 8.30pm (Sunday 9 December 2018).
Police attended a home in Franklin Grove, Oran Park, about 11.30pm and arrested a 26-year-old man.
He was taken to Narellan Police Station where he has been charged with common assault. He was granted conditional bail to appear in Camden Local Court this Thursday (13 December 2018).
Two girls, aged three and 20 months, were at home at the time.
While the woman was not seriously injured she was distressed and shaken by the incident.
An apprehended violence order has been served.
