AMA survey to support gender equity in leadership

Australian Medical Association

This year the AMA achieved its gender diversity target of 40 per cent women, 40 per cent men and 20 per cent flexible representation on our new Federal Council. It's an important step towards achieving gender equity in the AMA's leadership and representative structures. But there's more to be done and we invite AMA members to help us in this endeavour.

The AMA has partnered with Monash University on the Advancing Women in Healthcare Leadership project and developed a survey to identify better strategies and tools that help women advance in leadership roles. The survey will help us develop effective interventions that can be implemented to advance women in leadership in the AMA.
