The final AMA Trainee Forum for 2025 was held on 6 November 2025.
AMA Council of Doctors in Training (AMACDT) Chair, Dr Sanjay Hettige, facilitated a cross-college discussion on Trainee Perspectives on Best Practice in Supervision at the final AMA Trainee Forum for 2025.
Trainee chairs and representatives from multiple Specialist Medical Colleges attended to share experiences, highlight gaps, and propose improvements in supervision quality, supervisor capability, and emerging national reforms to accreditation.
The forum also included a presentation from the Medical Training Survey (MTS) policy team to brief trainee chairs on current data trends, system uses, and future improvements.
