An epic tribute to stupid fun

Swan Hill Town Hall PACC will be hosting a night of contemporary circus and physical theatre when they welcome the Gravity Dolls to the stage with Go! Go! GO! on Saturday, 17 April.

Swan Hill Town Hall's Sharon Brinkman said the show combines stunning acrobatics with ingenious physical theatre to create a playful, hilarious and entertaining spectacular.

"Three acrobats wake up in the ultimate escape room scenario, they quickly learn they have to work together, learn from their mistakes and overcome their differences in order to escape using only their circus abilities," she said.

"The challenges they face take the form of their favourite childhood games, ranging from retro video games to board games to school yard classics. In order to survive they'll need to draw on teamwork, physical strength and determination," Ms Brinkman said.

Ms Brinkman said as the name suggests this show will hit the ground running.

"It will builds to such a dizzying pace that you'll be left asking yourself, 'how can they keep going?

"This show bridges the gap between how generations play games and celebrates why games stand the test of time – the set is like a giant size version of mouse trap the board game.

"It's the Circus meets Jumanji and with a giant fully functioning claw that picks the performers up," she added.

This will be a covidsafe event and current COVID-19 restrictions will apply.
