An exciting new era for Morwell Maternal and Child Health services

An increase in Maternal and Child Health services will be available to Morwell families following the completion of a purpose built facility located within the Morwell Library.

Providing free Maternal and Child Health services to all children from birth to school entry age, the new facility will offer a modern space for families to access information relating to their child's health, development and growth.

The facility will be open to the public from today, Monday 9 December as the relocation process from Mid Valley to the Morwell Library has been completed.

Maternal and Child Health services are about giving children the best start and providing families with support they need. By locating the services within the library, families can explore the library before or after an appointment.

Latrobe City Libraries offer a range of free, fun activities for all ages, with a number of programs offered that are designed to encourage children to explore, laugh, smile and create memories. The library welcomes families with young children every day and there is no expectation for children to be quiet!

Operating hours for the Maternal and Child Health services will coincide with the Morwell Library which is open 8.30am to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday and Library services still being available on Saturday 9am to 12 noon.
